MEET THE PASTOR
Pastor Lance Ramsaroop TH.D. was born in Guyana, South America, where he received his early formal education. At an early age he accepted Christ as his personal Savior, and shortly after, felt the Gospel ministry call on his life. He started to pursue his goal of becoming a pastor. He attended Eccles Assembly of God with his family. Due to several factors he was not able to complete that goal in Guyana. He later got married to the love of his life, Ranie. After a few years, Ann-Marie was added to the family.
The opportunity came for the family to migrate to the USA, but the call of God never left his life. Sometime later, he was able to complete his ministerial requirement and became an Ordained Minister with the New York District Assemblies of God. From the time of his arrival in the USA, he was fellowshipping at Calvary Assembly of God – Ozone Park, NY and became very involved in the ministry.
From the day of his arrival to the day of the formation of The Beacon Church (a total of twenty three years) he was faithful in whatever area of ministry God placed him in. He served as a Sunday School Teacher, Children Church Worker, Bus Driver, Maintenance Crew, Deacon, Assistant Church Secretary, Assistant Church Treasurer, Department Head and Staff Pastor in charge of CARE Ministry.
During this journey, three other children joined the family – Amanda, Abigail and Joshua. Together as a family they now embark on bringing The Beacon Church AG to Queens, NY – a church where you are welcome.
